In 1321, Dietrich Stange sold the Gdakowo demesne to Johann Wenke, a townsman of Toruń, who located the village. In this picturesque and historically-rich village, you should visit the Baroque St. Anne’s Church from the 18th Century, erected on a rectangular plan, built of brick and plastered. It was erected in the style of a Protestant sermon church, where the altar connects with the pulpit. The interior is covered with a plank ceiling. The bell dates back to 1647, cast by Beningk of Gdańsk, and the door was created in 1755. The church was erected by the local builder Gottlieb Haselbacher, designed by J. S. Garlin.
