It is one of the first tenements built in the style characteristic of Gdynia – Modernism. It was built in 1928-1937 based on the project of Tadeusz Jędrzejewski. The rounded elements are meant to relate to the construction of ships, while the turret to the captain’s bridge. Before and after the war, the ground floor was home to a cinema, first the “Polonia”, followed by the “Goplana”.
