The Kacze Łęgi Reserve

The reserve protects the remains of the early plant cover of river valleys (the elm carr), that was once typical for the flora of small river valley beds, and four species on the list of endangered and threatened plants: Valeriana sambucifolia, Veronica montana, Rumex sanguineus (bloody dock), and Poa remota Forselles. The reserve covers a section of a stream with a small tributary and a well-preserved fragment of carr forest with mature forest cover and many monument trees.
