The Brzęczek Nature Reserve

In its most part, the reserve occupies the Duże Lake slope, where the difference between the water surface and the highest hills amounts to approx. 30 m. The protection afforded by this reserve extends over communities of the Pomeranian beech forest which includes imposing remnants of a 160-year-old beech old-growth forest. There are also habitats of rare and protected vascular plants found within the reserve’s boundaries.
