Strawberry picking is the largest outdoor event in Złota Góra. In Brodnica Górna, near Kartuzy, it became part of the annual Kashubian events. It has been organized since 1971.
The main attraction are strawberries in various forms, according to the slogan “everything about strawberries.” The fest features trade and catering stands, and presentations on the heritage of Kashubian culture, both amateur and professional. The fest also offers numerous artistic performances, competitions, a fishing contest, stands with strawberries, Kashubian folk handicraft, horse tram rides, and many other attractions.

During the event, strawberry producers present their crops, selling fresh and processed strawberries in the form of a mousse.
Truskawkobranie also features numerous strawberry-related competitions, e.g. the best strawberry pie and the largest strawberry. Among the competitions there is also one for the best epigram on strawberries. The competition is announced in the press, and the results are presented during the Fest.

Złota Góra – this is where Truskawkobranie takes place in Kashubia. Nobody really knows who came up with the idea of organising this open-air event in Złota Góra near the viewing point. The location of the fest is determined by the naturally-formed amphitheatre, with Wielkie Brodno lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Kashubia, in the background. The location is surrounded by strawberry plantations.
