The Pomorskie Voivodeship landscape is varied and interesting. The variety of views is huge, and the most beautiful panoramas can be admired from natural hills and viewing towers. The possible effort in reaching the top will be compensated by the views that relax, inspire and encourage you to plan your next trip. Therefore, we invite you to visit Pomorskie viewpoints, because as you know - you can see more from above!

Observation Tower in Wdzydze Kiszewskie in the Wdzydze Landscape Park

To get to this point, you need to enter the PTTK hostel in Wdzydze Kiszewskie. The wooden structure is almost 36 meters high and has three observation decks, next to it there is an educational shelter. There are information boards about the beauty of the Wdzydze Landscape Park.

From the tower itself, there is a view of the, so called Cross of Wdzydze Lakes, which consists of five lakes: Wdzydze Lake, Radolne, Gołun, Jelenie and Slupinko, as well as peninsulas and numerous bays. The largest island of Lake Wdzydze that we will see is called Ostrow Wielki. For tired children and adults, next to the tower there is a small restaurant with the lake view.

The viewing tower on the top of Wiezyca Hill

Wiezyca Hill in the landscape reserve in the Kashubian Lake District. The Wiezyca Hill, 328.5 meters above sea level, is the highest peak of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and the European Lowland. It is located in the range of frontal moraines of the Szymbarskie Hills, surrounded by a beech forest.

A well-preserved fragment of a beech forest on the highest hill (328.6 m above sea level) in the Central European Lowland is under protection. A metal viewing tower with a height of 35 meters (182 steps), from its viewing platform we can admire the varied landscape of Kashuby. Just remember, that on the platform in Wieżyca the aura is similar to the mountain one.

On the way to the tower, you can stop at the car park (charged in season) on the road to Szymbark. After a quarter of an hour of walking in the forest, you can climb the tower. The entrance from the different side of the Kashubian People’s University in Wieżyca takes 30-40 minutes and is more difficult – you have to overcome about 100 m of the hight difference. This is the third viewing tower in this place, its official name is the John Paul Kashubian Viewing Tower.

Donas Hill lookout tower in Gdynia in the Kashubian Lake District

The immensity of the forest, hills and the view of the city are its symbol. Mount Donas is 205.6 m above the sea level, it is the highest hill in Gdynia, with a telecommunications tower built on its top. The entire tower is over 70 meters high, 25 stairs up. The observation deck, which can be reached by stairs, is located at an altitude of over 232 meters above sea level.

On clear days, with good visibility, you can admire the panorama of Gdynia, Sopot and some districts of Gdansk, the sea and the nearby Chwaszczyno. In strong winds, temperatures below 0°C, icing of the structure, fog, rain, snow and storms, the tower is closed to visitors. Admission is free.

Donas Hill is located in the Dabrowa district of Gdynia, it can be reached both by forest roads and trails marked out in the Tri-City Landscape Park. The shortest option is the black and yellow route from the trolleybus stop at Mietowa Street in Dabrowa, from here only 1 kilometer to the tower, walking time approx. 20 minutes.

Observation tower in Gniewin "Kashubian Eye

The observation tower is the centre of the Kashubian Eye, it is part of the recreation complex. The height of the structure from the base of the mound to the spire is 44 m and in good weather you can see ships at sea. Also visible are the remains of the nuclear power plant in Zarnowiec, a wind farm with 18 windmills and the nearby reservoir of Poland’s largest pumped-storage power plant (122 ha). The viewing platform can be accessed via 212 steps or by elevator.

The recreation and tourist complex of Kashubian Eys is located on a high, approx. 113 m above the sea level, hill, in close proximity to the so-called the upper water reservoir of the pumped-storage power plant. The architecture of the complex was planned in the form of an eye with an area of ​​4.2 ha. Its most important element is the pupil, which is the observation tower. Its foot is surrounded by an iris – flower beds arranged in the shape of a French garden. The eyelash is a pergola running along the walking path. Near the corner of the eye there is a round restaurant, the construction referring to the shape of the tower platform
