This museum presents the history of the Free City of Danzig its economic and cultural conquests. It shows documents, badges, a former merchant’s counter. The exhibition is enriched with multimedia accents, including old documentary films showing Gdansk, and the original anthem of the Free City of Danzig of the ’30s (‘Für Danzig’ by Paul Enderling).
The grand opening of the facility took place on 27th June 2009. On that day the oldest Gdansk tram – Bergmann type was encouraging citizens to visit the museum.
