Town square with a fountain and a statue of King Casimir Jagiellonczyk in Malbork

A town square with a fountain forming the shape of a knight’s shield and swords referring to the history of the Middle Ages. The main attraction of this place is a fountain where the rhythm of specially selected music make the water “dance” flowing out of almost 50 nozzles of the fountain.

The bronze statue of King Casimir Jagiellonczyk is also the pride of the square as a reminder to all about the Polish history of the town of Malbork. It is a monument of the Polish king, who in June 1457 with his triumphal entry into Malbork began here 315 years of the so-called “Polish times”. The statue is 348 cm high and is made entirely of bronze.
