Watermill is situated on the Black Wda river. Initially, it was only a wooden structure with time was covered in bricks . Today is carefully preserved monument of Kashubian culture. The watermill is one of the few carefully restored water mills in the Gdansk Pomorenia. It remains a relic of the ancient history of the land of Kashubian. Lipusz watermill can be seen also from the riverside as there passes a canoe trail on the river Wda.
