St. James’ Church in Tuja

It stands out among the numerous Gothic churches in Żuławy with its west tower built on an octagonal plan. The interior holds a stone stellar vault; despite numerous renovations, it has remained in its original form. Some of the original Baroque furnishings have remained: in the main altar the painting of St. James, on the upper level, the Coronation of the Mother of God. The Mennonite cemetery around the church has almost no headstones left.
