In 1823 it was subjected to redevelopment, and 1874 saw its transept added. The church features many unparalleled monuments: an early-Baroque altar with elaborate carvings and portraits of Duchess Anna and her son Ernest Bogusław, depicted as a twenty-year-old boy, a 17th-Century Baroque pulpit, and a church bell from 1706. Back in those days the church vault was decorated with 49 religious paintings, most probably by Foxkirch. After the renovation works some of these were put onto the walls. The abundance of paintings and ornaments distinguished the church from among other village temples in Pomerania.
