The Wiele Calvary is one of Poland's most beautiful, built during the years 1915 - 1925
It is composed of 23 structures: 14 chapels, 6 sculptures, the holy stairs, the pulpit and the Hermitage, which served as the home of its custodians for many years. The Wiele Calvary was constructed on the basis of the concept of the Munich architect Theodor Mayr.
The forest slopes of the White Hill on Wiele Lake will allow you to visit its largest structure, which is the Pilate’s Palace Chapel, the first Station of the Cross, as well as the boat-shaped pulpit, which was added in 1946 to the Holy Stairs, the number of which corresponds to the number of Hail Marys in the Rosary.
