The Żelkowo hydroelectric power plant on the Łupawa

Opened in 1906 between the Drzeżewo and Smołdzino electric stations, it operated until 1945 when the Red Army dismantled the equipment. Such was the fate of most Pomeranian electric stations. Re-launched in 1950-1954, it has the power of 382 kWh. The facility has two Francis turbines, and its annual energy generation is estimated to be 2.3 MWh.
