Świętojańska Gate in Gdańsk

It was built at the end of the 14th Century. Rebuilt in the 19th Century, it gained its classicistic frontage facing the river. Damaged during World War II, it was rebuilt between 1976 and 1978. Currently, it is the seat of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians.

Right in front of the gate, on the other side of River Motława, there is Sołdek, a freighter ship.
