The route that has been satisfying these pilgrim needs for many centuries is the European route Camino – Way of St. James, which since the 12th century has been one of the most important Christian pilgrimage routes leading to Santiago de Compostela.
For twenty years we have been experiencing its renaissance, which contributes to the integration of European nations, regions and countries in cultivating and deepening knowledge about the common roots of cultural identity.
This has been the case in Poland since 2004. In Pomerania, a visible sign of the cult of St. Jakub, there are numerous temples under his patronage. Each of their thresholds can be a place from which we set off on a pilgrimage…

In the Pomorskie Voivodeship, this route is 326.4 km long. The Polish section of the trail is about 720 km long, the route runs from Braniewo to Świnoujście and then to Rostock. The Pomeranian Road is divided into 7 main parts (Elbląg, Gdańsk, Żukowska, Kartuska, Lęborska, Słupsk, Zachodniopomorskie), covering 29 sections. (Leg on the route)
