Winter holidays without the smog – this is ow Sopot invites those who seek for the fresh air. The action promoting the fresh air is dedicated mainly to those who live in the South, where the level of pollution is far above the acceptable standards.
The season for the winter family has started. Kids from different vaivodeships will start their winter holidays in January and February searching for fun, entertainment and this year also the fresh air. Thankfully, not all parts of Poland are cowered with the smog.

As it is stated in Polish Smog Alarm record, Sopot is on the second place among the cities with the cleanest air, later Gdynia, Słupsk and Gdansk. The very high score is due to the near the sea localization and the consistent action of the reduction of carbon dioxide.

Talking about the active recreation We have to mention the Tricity Landscape Park, which is a perfect place for the bike trips or jogging – and when there is snow – cross country skiing.

The time left after jogging, swimming and skiing We recommend to visit one of the education centres – Hewelianum Centre, whose patron is famous Gdansk astronomer or Experyment Centre in Gdynia, where the young scientists can do their own experiments.
