Gothic, Baroque, half-timbered houses, built of wood, brick, or filled with clay or plastered – only Pomerania offers such a diversity of religious buildings. The rich interior decor, the wall paintings and incredible stained glass windows, give the finishing touch to the structures.

In the central part of the village there is one of the few Romanesque-Revival churches of the Lębork district, the construction of which began in 1845 and ended two years later, when the first Protestant Mass took place.

The Nowa Wieś church is a brick building, decorated with horizontal plaster stripes in Romanesque-Revival style. In the middle of the facade there is a three-level tower with a square cross-section, topped with triangular gables and a pointed cupola. The windows of the body and the tower are closed with round arches.
