Gothic, Baroque, half-timbered houses, built of wood, brick, or filled with clay or plastered – only Pomerania offers such a diversity of religious buildings. The rich interior decor, the wall paintings and incredible stained glass windows, give the finishing touch to the structures.

The Corpus Christi Church in Pelplin

This parish church designed for the residents of the settlement establishing itself in the vicinity of the priory was built immediately next to the walls of the Basilica.

These Gothic walls made of brick conceal many fascinating fittings of the 14th-Century church. An early-Gothic granite baptismal font and a Baroque Holy Angels' altar, as well as the high altar, pulpit and baptismal font (all in Rococo) constitute its treasured monuments. Its environs with the graveyard are also very intriguing.
