Museo "Pod Strzechą"

El museo "Pod Strzechą" (Bajo el tejado de paja) es una colección privada de Juliusz Struck, que a lo largo de los años ha acumulado equipos de pesca que dejaban de ser utilizados.

Entre las colecciones se encuentran dispositivos para la captura de cuervos y gaviotas, hachas para cortar el hielo, botas de pesca, redes, lanas, cuerdas y carretes sin los cuales no se salía al mar. Aparte de familiarizarse con el equipo de uso diario, también se pueden escuchar las interesantes y coloridas historias de la vida de la pesca, historias de expediciones a las oscuras profundidades del mar y leyendas casubias. Por el museo guía personalmente el señor Juliusz, que muestra el uso de algunos objetos de su colección. Entre las exposiciones más interesantes destaca el banco para hacer los zapatos de madera, las palas con las que se cazaban las focas, las correas para tirar de la red y el tranquilizador de olas. El museo está ubicado en el primer piso de la cabaña del pescador, donde la planta baja está ocupaba por un taller de construcción de embarcaciones. De acuerdo con la tradición familiar, desde hace tres generaciones en el taller se fabrican los tradicionales barcos de vela de roble y alerce. El museo "Pod Strzechą" es el lugar perfecto donde se puede conocer la vida tradicional de los pescadores del mar.
