His company based in Dorset in the UK, has created more than 600 projects of mazes in 30 countries on 6 continents. His designs were created, among others, in the UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands as well as in South America, India, Japan and South Korea. 20 years ago in the United States Adrian Fisher designed the world’s first maze in the cornfield. His mazes were entered into the Guinness Book of Records six times , mathematical puzzles appear daily in the British “The Times”, Navigaty puzzle in the “Daily Mail” and Mandali puzzle on BBC Radio Times.
The World of Labyrinths in Bliziny was opened in July 2012 and in the same year received the prestigious award – second place in the Plebiscite of Gazeta Wyborcza – “50 highlights of Pomerania”.
Park has a parking lot with an area of 2.2 ha. Currently the park occupies an area of about 8ha however, there is a possibility of its extension to 23ha.
The main theme of the park are the mazes in its broad sense. There park offers mazes one can walk around: in a corn field, panel, willow and puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and mazes that require logical thinking. Moreover, the organizers are planning a number of additional attractions: festivals and workshops. All the fun and activities within the World of Labyrinths Bliziny are to serve the development of ecological awareness, promotion of healthy lifestyles, recreation and mental development. The main theme each year varies with the change of the pattern of the maze in the corn field. In the 2012 season it were pirates, the next seasons it may be a princess, UFO, Wild West or the underwater world.
