Orłowo is a typical marshland village situated south from Nowy Dwór Gdański, incorporated as early as the 14 th Century.
Beside arcade houses and several examples of wooden regional buildings, there is a nice little Gothic house St. Barbara’s Church erected in 1350 with a low tower made of wood, dating back to the 18th century.
The interiors of the temple have preserved a modest historic furnishing. An interesting element of the church are stones with dates and inscriptions, built into its foundations. In front of the church visitors can take a look at several tombstones from the 18th and 19th Centuries.
