The original cultural landscape of the village is disappearing – only one arcade house has survived, along with the visible arrangement of drainage ditches and polders.
The arcade house was built in the 18th Century for Johann Gabriel Preuss. It is a wooden structure with a half-timbered arcade based on 7 pillars and a pitched roof covered with pantiles. The building’s interior features a large room, a “black kitchen” and a hall, in one line, separating the summer room and the utility rooms.
