Pomorskie EuroVelo

Pomorskie EuroVelo is part of a much larger network of international bicycle routes. In Pomorskie Voivodeship, you will drive EV routes over a distance of about 700 km. Of the official 17 EuroVelo routes, 3 lead through Pomorskie region.

EuroVelo 10/13

EuroVelo 10/13

The central theme of the EV10 route is the Baltic Sea, while the origins of the EV13 route stem from the former borders of the Eastern Bloc countries. The tourist appeal of these routes is based on the Pomeranian cultural heritage connected to the sea, the region's ethnic diversity, and its unique landscape values. The symbolism of the fall of communism in Europe is preserved by the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk, which gives special significance to the Iron Curtain Trail. The combination of these two themes into one international route creates a phenomenon on a European scale.

EuroVelo 9/WTR

EuroVelo 9/WTR

In the Pomorskie Voivodeship, the EV9 route overlaps with the Vistula Bicycle Route. The main theme of this trail is, of course, the “queen of Polish rivers” — the Vistula — along with its natural landscape, cultural heritage, and its influence on the history of the regions it flows through. The character of EuroVelo 9 is quite different from that of the coastal route. Here, a peaceful atmosphere prevails, enriched by idyllic, rural scenery. The absence of intense tourist traffic — typical, for example, along the coast — creates a distinctly different experience, offering a form of active leisure in the spirit of “slow life.”
