Tri-City. An agglomeration that is teeming with life

Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia - three cities that are different in everything - history, location, size. However, these are only slight differences. The truth is that Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia are three cities that connect everything. Hence the name Tri-City: a place where history, modernity, culture, business and nature intertwine beautifully. Tri-City is a metropolis proud of its roots and open to new products.

Almost 800,000 inhabitants in love with the Tri-City cannot be wrong. They say: Tri-City is the best place to live in the world. A dynamically developing agglomeration, a history that was forever marked the chronicles of history, an unusually rich heritage, the Baltic Bay that opens to the Baltic Sea, Tri-City Landscape Park were one can breathe deeply … If we were to describe all the values ​​of the Tri-City, one would have to issue an encyclopaedia of several minutes. This is an endless story.

Tri -City, specific existence

The Tri-City consists of historic Gdansk, spa Sopot and modern Gdynia. Everyone will find something for themselves. It is worth starting the tour by walking along the seafront. The beaches in Gdansk, the pier in Sopot, Gdynia Orlowo and the cliff with a breathtaking view of the Gdansk Bay are a wonderful introduction to the Tri-City adventure.

Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia tempt with attractions. After a walk along the seashore (or a bike ride along the seaside promenade – it’s best to choose the Mevo Metropolitan Bicycle!) It is worth hiding in a restaurant in Gdansk or Sopot. They are not lacking here in every part of the city. Many chefs can boast of culinary distinctions. The Tri-City is also an attraction for children – EXPERYMENT Science Center in Gdynia, Maritime Culture Center in Gdansk, “Miniatura” Theater, outdoor playgrounds, swimming pools … The youngest will not be bored here.

What to see in the Tri-City?

Tri-City and attractions? In this case, the offer is extremely rich. Gdansk focuses on monuments. We will find the historic Royal Way here with Dluga Street and Dlugi Targ Street. This path was followed by monarchs who visited the coastal city. The center of Gdansk is also the famous Neptune Fountain or Arthur’s Court, which was a meeting place for the city merchants. It is only a sample, because in Gdansk it is also worth seeing the Long Embankment and the Crane, Second World War Museum and European Solidarity Center. In the picturesque Oliwa district there is the Gdansk ZOO and the beautiful Oliwa Park.

In Sopot Health Resort there is the longest wooden pier on the Baltic Sea. Visiting Sopot it is also worth walking down an extremely representative promenade at ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino (so-called Monciak). Attractions in Sopot include countless restaurants, clubs and pubs, as well as the forest part of the spa with walking trails and the legendary Forest Opera.

What is worth seeing in Gdynia? Gdynia is famous of  Kosciuszko Square with ships mooring on the waterfront. There is also Kamienna Gora with a cable car and a view of the sea. There is also historic Orlowo with a pier and a beach.

There are also countless restaurants in Gdynia, located in the city center. The annual Open’er festival, i.e. a festival of world music and one of the largest music festivals in Europe, as well as the Polish Feature Film Festival is also a great event in Gdynia.

The Tri-City is teeming with life. Concerts and events take place here throughout the year, and cultural and sporting events attract guests from all over the world.
