The Museum of the National Anthem in Będomin – a department of the Gdańsk National Museum

This is the only such venue in Poland and the world. It presents the notes and text of the anthem released in Paris in 1856 in Polish and French, as well as its 19^th Century German travesties. Besides its exhibition and educational activity, the museum collects and prepares collections associated with Józef Wybicki and his time, and historical artifacts related to the “Dąbrowski’s Mazurka” from the 19^th and 20^th Centuries. The most interesting exhibits include 19^th Century music boxes, which play the tune of “Dąbrowski’s Mazurka”.
