The route is full of long climbs and fast descents (including typical single tracks). It leads mostly along comfortable forest paths crossing nature reserves and picturesque valleys. Although it is not the easiest one, the effort made is fully compensated by our close contact with the nature of the Tri-city Landscape Park.
We emerge from the forest at Matarnia for a while
At the junction of the forest roads, we turn right and after a dozen or so meters we face the greatest fitness challenge. There is a short but quite steep uphill ride to the top of the moraine hill along which the Lipnicka Road leads. We will test our condition here – seasoned cyclists will ride on their own (which will now strain a bit), those less frequent cyclists will have to get off from the bike.
When we reach the top, despite the fact that we will continue the drive to the right, it is worth taking a clear path to the left towards the “Osiedle Młodych” in Oliwa. It will lead us to the top of the hill, commonly known as “Lagry”. In the 1970s and 1980s, a small ski lift operated here. Only the foundations of the concrete machine room have survived to this day. Although we will not ski here anymore, we can admire the view of Wrzeszcz without any problems.

We return to Lipnicka Road – a comfortable forest path leads slightly uphill for about a kilometre until a clear, double intersection of forest routes. Turning left, we will find a narrow path that will lead us through the edge of the Hussar Gorge reserve, up to the underground passage under Slowackiego Street. From here we will get to the Sanctuary in Matemblewo and then to the finish line – at the starting point, at the PKM Jasien stop, along a wide, paved road.
