The ruins of the Gothic church in Rumia

The first mentions of the church date back to the 13th Century, when St. Stanislaus became its Patron Saint. The Rumia parish is one of the oldest in Gdańsk Pomerania. Founded by Gdańsk Duke Mściwój II, a 13th-Century wooden church located on a stone foundation did not last to this day. A masonry Gothic church was erected in the 15th Century in its place, the remains of which are parts of the wall and a Gothic presbytery, encircled by the tombstones from the 19th and 20th Centuries.
