The City Walls in Starogard Gdański

The city’s defence walls were built during the reconstruction of the former village into a city-fortress. With height of 5 m and width of 2 m, they were set on a stone foundation, their corners were reinforced with bastilles and they were protected by a moat. Only fragments of the medieval fortifications are preserved today.
