Smoking fish in Guzkówka – a slow weekend
In the forest we can find mushrooms and blueberries – we all know that. But not everyone knows that in the forest you will also discover a very hospitable house with four cosy rooms and inimitable cuisine. Around it there is a garden, where there are herbs and the smell of the pine forest and after rain – the nearby lakes Sudomie and Żołnowo. Smoked fish also smells good, and what a smell is that! Workshops on the art of smoking coarse fish with a warm smoke that end with a certificate, and primarily a tasting, is a reason enough to stay for a weekend (or longer) in Guzkówka.
All year round there is something to do here: in the spring, in the early morning, the flowers of elder or acacia are picked and later, properly prepared they constitute a delicious breakfast. In the summer, it is hard to say no to canoes and nordic walking sticks; in the autumn, there is nothing better than a walk in a scarlet-golden forest, and in the winter it is worth bringing cross-country skis with you, and checking for yourself if it is really such an easy task to walk on freshly fallen snow. The host, Mister Adam, is probably doing magic in the kitchen, because it is hard to believe that such dishes can be prepared without magic. So you don’t have to worry about attractions or a dinner in Guzkówka.

Slow weekend w agroturystyce z koniem „U Jurka” w Nowym Klinczu
Agritourism with a horse “U Jurka” is located in the terrain of picturesque Kashubia, in the Nowy Klincz village, only 5 kilometres from Kościerzyna. This is a place, in whose in silence and peace you can forget about the rush of everyday life, and the vicinity of the Kashubian forests favours horse, bike or walking escapades. The owners of the farm have a horse breeding firm, and happily share their passion and experience, and their specialization is teaching horse riding and hippotherapy.
All horse riding lessons are led under the watchful eye of a qualified horse riding instructor. The farm is inhabited by: horses, cows, goats, sheep, geese, ducks, pigs, dogs, cats and chickens. In the summer, the whole day can be spent in the open air, and when it gets cool – the hostess will show you how to spin sheep wool on a spinning wheel.
There is no such thing as boredom on a real farm! There are instead free moments, a lot of them. You can for example milk goats and feed horses or go for a walk with binoculars to watch squirrels, cranes, hares, hawks and roe deer. When the right amount of snow appears – it is time for sleigh rides and building a snowman.

A green weekend in Zielony Kot in Lipusz
Agritourism Farm Zielony Kot is located in Lipusz village, close to picturesquely situated canoe, bike and walking trails. In a renovated country house we will find rooms for two, three and four people. In total, Zielony Kot can house around 20 people at a time. At the guests’ disposal is also a kitchen, in which you can prepare meals. It is worth however trying local specialities like the well-known bread, farm eggs or milk straight from a cow.
In Zielony Kot everyone can find their artistic side – you can escape to the world of theatre or ceramics, or take part in nature workshops. A fun fact is that nearby there is a colony of 65 bats. As was checked, the local species is a parti-coloured bat which you can encounter closer to the Baltic Sea rather than on the south of the voivodeship. The workers of Wdzydzki Park Krajobrazowy [Wdzydzki Landscape Park], who show up on the farm, will gladly share some details.

Surrounded with more than 10 hectares of forests, meadows, fields, where forest animals and rare bird species live – this is Dwór Mysinek. At guests’ disposal, there are four rooms with single and twin beds. Home cooking ensures dishes of old Polish cuisine or specialities from a mobile grill-smokehouse. The owner will happily take guests for a historic ride in a carriage on local grounds, and in the winter he organises sleigh rides. He also visits hill forests in Owidz, and in the forest facility stylised for a country inn, he organises outdoor events.
