December is a special time when we prepare to celebrate the most important holiday. On the one hand, it is a time of reflection, on the other hand, it is a crazy race against time so that everything is perfectly prepared.

The approaching Christmas, waiting for the first snowflakes, Santa’s sleigh speeding high in the sky… it’s all unbelievable and magical, and to feel the atmosphere of winter holidays even better, it’s worth visiting Christmas markets. It is there that we will feel the spirit and magic of winter celebrations.
Unique hand-made decorations, charming trinkets for loved ones, strings of lights and unforgettable smells of local cuisine. All this is waiting for us at the fair stands. More and more willingly organized by larger and smaller cities, they have become a permanent part of the Polish winter tradition.
Although they come, like the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree, from our western neighbours, they quickly fit into the Christmas preparations. After all, where else but among dozens of colorful stalls to look for original trinkets for a gift and delicacies for the festive table. Fragrant pastries, the smell of hot chocolate, tinctures can easily overwhelm our sense of smell.
