Donas Mountain

Donas Mountain is a moraine elevation forming part of the Kashubian Lakeland and the microregion of the Chwaszczyn Moraine. Dąbrowa, one of the newest districts of Gdynia, is developing at the foot of the Mountain. To reach the peak, it is helpful to use the yellow trail, called the Trójmiasto (Tricity) trail. The tower itself is 70 metres high, with the viewing balcony situated on the 27th floor. During the war, it served as an observation point – it was here that the Soviet forces defeated the German troops that were defending the Mountain.
